While acupuncture is fairly well-known, there are many treatment options available. Check these out and consider what you might want to try in future appointments.

Acupuncture

Traditional acupuncture is the insertion of thin needles in specific locations to enhance balance of the body, mind, emotions and spirit. It may relieve pain or other symptoms, but also promotes well-being. Needles are usually left in place 10 – 45 minutes while you relax.

Esoteric Acupuncture

Esoteric acupuncture uses traditional acupuncture points and needles. The needles are placed in a specific order and often use sacred geometric shapes to induce movement of energy to enhance spiritual awareness.

Cupping

Cupping works to lift the skin and underlying tissue to promote circulation and stimulate healing.

Magnets

Magnets attached to circular tape stimulate acupuncture points on a constant basis. Some common points to use magnets include P6 near the inside of the wrist for prevention of nausea in morning and motion sickness.

Ear balls

Ear balls are tiny metal balls on a small piece of tape placed on specific ear points to aid in treatment. The balls are gently pressed by the client as often as desired. The most frequently used points include ones for relaxation and appetite suppression.
